12DW7 in V1 of Vox AC50/4 MK2!!!

Okay, I put this off for way longer than I should have. I have played this amp a bunch prior and it was admittedly not my go-to. Not bad sounding, but no magic. But a couple of local friends/enthusiasts recommended replacing the 12AU7 in V1 with a 12DW7 and finally it sounds like a Vox! And a damn loud one at that!!! 

Anyways, I definitely recommend the 12DW7 in V1 if you have an older AC50.  That is all.
