Carol Kaye  was amazing, she played on virtually everything recorded during the 60s-70s in LA.  If you can find it, watch "The Wrecking Crew" doc, all about the LA session scene back then.

Was named after George Fullerton in 1887
Maybe the city namesake was the father or grandfather of the George in the picture.
