hi - low input

trying to wrap my head around these inputs. they both look the same (as far as level). just two separate inputs not one higher than the other?

How is everyone doing the physical connections for the 2 68K resistors? Are the putting the resistors at the jacks or at the tube socket? Got any recommendations for mechanically supporting the 2 resistors where they connect?

I can't speak for everyone, but this is how Leo did it and he built a lot more of these than everyone else...
