Cab builders with attention to detail (vintage repro)?
« on: February 12, 2024, 11:33:18 am »
Hi there, while Mojotone/Guitar Cabinets Direct make good repro cabinets, they seem to miss the little details that, to me, are important. I used to commission Peter Mather to build me cabinets, he used to nail those details that were specific to the vintage cabinets. Peter was as good as Larry Rodgers, maybe even better. Unfortunately and quite unexpectedly, Peter passed away last year. He will be missed. Anyone know of any cab builders in the US with Peter's attention to detail?

I’ve been very satisfied with a couple of cabinets that Jeff Swanson had built for me.
