record-O-Phone Reel to Reel. Any Ideas?

 I was wondering if there would be anything to build and keep stock without modifying to much? I wanting to keep the transformers and tubes? I have no schematic nor much info. Comes from a Bell Record-O-Phone. 6X5GT rectifier which I hear are garbage. 2x 6SJ7,1x 6K6,6J5.

I am not saying I am not willing to change anything. Please do not misunderstand me.... I would love to change the rectifier to solid state if I could, just adding diodes or something else. I would love to have a 12Ax7 preamp. I do not know what those  transformers can handle.

That OT was running a 6V6.

Lots of options, one would think.

TDVT, I think that is the wrong Schematic. It is a RT50. it does have a  single 6k6 though. It has 2 6sJ7.

A Revibe or 6G15 use small transformers. The OT is a perfect match for a 6K6. That's why I suggested a Revibe or 6G15. I also don't see anything wrong with using a 6X5 or diodes for my suggestion.

Sluckey, I built my son your dual lite amp and he loves it. I been wanting to try a reverb unit and I built that single tube one and it was garbage all it did was if you bumped it, you could hear the reverb, but never gave anything else so I scrapped it.  The 6G15 would be great.

You need a different rectifier with that PT. Use two 1N4007s and connect like this...
