No, but no reason why you should not do so.   You can let your customer know they've had a cabling upgrade.

For me, that's too thick for what I do as a routine shielded cable.  But it will work fine.

Hi Joe
Absolutely fine but may be a little large in diameter. I use in in SS Calibration type preamps.
My favourite small shielded cable. Cherish it, use it sparingly as Mogami factory shut their doors during Covid.

RG316 is my go-to coax.  See:  https://www.awcwire.com/rg-catalog/rg316-coax-cable for one company's description.  Very well suited for hot environments. Should be impervious inside a guitar amp.

I've been using RG-316 for many years mainly because of it's resistance to heat. No oops while soldering.

Heat is no problem. The center conductor has PTFE insulation. And the clear/tan outer jacket is made of FEP. You would have to try very hard to make a heat mark on PTFE or FEP.

The RG-316 I have is fairly stiff and will not do tight 90° bends. unless tied down with cable clamps. Looks like the stuff kagliostro found is more flexible.

A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!
