 Now that is a minimalist post. How about some info?
There are several Gibson GA5 skylarks. Some have no tone circuits at all. You want to permanently or temporarily remove it?

First you must find the pot, but don't smoke it!   :l2:
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

That schematic clip comes from the GA-5T, not GA-5. (T stands for Tremolo)

which GA5 circuit?
A bus stops at a bus station. A train stops at a train station. On my desk, I have a work station.

Oh! Sorry.
But no matter what amp you unplug the tone pot from, there's no more tone control.

There are at least 2 models of the ga5 skylark that have bass and treble pots. Since he states "tone circuit" it could be one of those. Gibson decided to throw ga5 on way too many amps.
Regardless - it would help if folks included a reasonable amount of info with their questions.
And you can walk on my lawn, but stay out of the garden :cussing:
