Cap job question
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a pull boost SF DR that hasn't yet had a cap job, do I only need to replace the power supply caps? Or should I also replace the cathode bypass caps and the bias cap? I guess my second question is if someone has a readable layout/schematic of one of these beasts?
Thanks
Tiny Daddy

Replace all the electrolytics including cathode bypass and bias. Also consider Blackface and "Clean" mods, you will be pleased. Schematics and mods at schematicheaven.com. Suggest 20uF/500V sprague caps in the power supply, install diode rectifiers and the "Ground" switch may be re-wired to select between tube and SS rectifiers. You can install Doug's bridge rectifier using the screw hole that now holds the ground switch capacitor, just don't connect the neg output.
