Anyone familiar with Sound Electronics Corp?
« on: February 28, 2025, 10:50:54 am »
I’m always on the lookout for deals in need of repair and I came across an X202+ for cheap that could use some love.

I can’t find any info in the forum or through other search channels, so I figured I’d just ask directly.

Does anyone know where to find more information, or even schematics?

Chance I  have schematic on my PC at home.
I won't be there before on week.

Looks nice and simple from that photo. If you have schematics I’d be happy to see them.

That pic came from reverb.com. There are more pics in the same listing. Even got some internal chassis gut shots. Layout is nice and orderly. Should be easy enough to draw a schematic. Heck, it's simple enough that a good tech wouldn't even need a schematic, unless it's been butchered.

I'd never heard of them either, and it's no surprise that it's hard to find info since the name is so generic. Searching on "sound electronics" is going to produce a million unrelated hits.

I'll be interested to see what you do with it.

Here's where you might find it, otherwise I don't know.  :dontknow:

Look here, in the amps section.
This is a very good link.
