Customer Service???

I thought you guys would enjoy this!
My mother in law lives next door and her house phone went out! (silence, no dial tone, no hum)
I plugged a known good phone in at the interface outside and, NOTHING!
So I called Brightslow (Brightspeed) customer NO service and they started a repair ticket
for Aug. 5th! It's June 26th! WTF!

I brought one of our cordless phones and a charging dock to her house and it works. (a good 200 ft.)
She's on oxygen in the late stages of COPD!

Our only other option is Spectrum.
Guys, let me know if that's worse???
Dad had Spectrum in Pinehurst without problems but that's been 3 years ago since he passed.
