Little Bear SE EL84 Amp
« on: July 26, 2025, 11:29:33 pm »
I'm posting this one just because I like it so much. When I built it 20 years ago I was just playing around experimenting and didn't think much about it.Now all these years later it's a real pleasure. Even though the heater is grounded like the original Champ(one leg), it's quiet as a mouse. The adjustable NFB actually works good. The transformers are kind of a mystery out of a Revere Reel to Reel tape recorder. I thought so much of it, I build a special speaker cab for it with a 10" Eminence Rajun Cajun which IMHO was a perfect match for the amp. When I was building this amp I was getting a lot of help from the Hoffman Forum,
so thanks Ya'll:>)
