What tubes to accommodate in a tube tester
« on: November 01, 2025, 07:33:39 pm »
I'm building a socket adapter for my I-177 tester. I know it's not a great tester, but I like it because it has a simple good/bad scale and mine is well calibrated. I want to accommodate tubes I run across frequently when working on guitar amps. I have accommodated for tubes with pinouts like the tubes on the list that follows.

What am I forgetting?

If you don’t already have it, here is the tube chart

The older I get, the more I just like plugging directly into my amp
