Ashdown MAG 600 VU meter bulb

Have a Ashdown MAG 600 with a burned out VU meter bulb. The only direct replacement I found was on Reverb's site but has been sold for $15 which seems very expensive. I did find several VU meter bulbs on ebay that looks like it would work but am wondering if a 12v, 100ma would work. These are only going for $4 plus shipping.

Jeez, I'd recommend emailing Ashdown directly for information on the bulb.
