Revibe No Reverb Questiom
« on: January 16, 2026, 03:15:13 pm »
Input Output jacks isolated. Grounding switch isolated. IEC ground to chassis. All other grounds through 15-ohm 5-watt resistor to chassis. Guitar cable to 67 Showman. With meter from chassis at connection of 15-ohm resistor to ground buss meter reads 15 ohms, with IEC cable disconnected. With IEC cable connected meter reads 2.4-ohms. i know it's something simple, but I'm a little dense LOL.

Obviously, the ground was connecting back through the house wiring to the showman to the output jack of the project. I disconnected the output jack ground from the buss and reconnected it to chassis through its own 15-ohm resistor. This is an improvement. not totally quiet yet but better.
