"Adding FX loop" topic - page error
« on: January 24, 2026, 03:21:40 pm »
Hello,

I was going to check on replies to my previous post "Adding FX loop" but all I see is that there is a page error (see attachment).
I get this with 3 different browsers.  I can read anything else just fine.

Anyone else get the same error?  Anyone know what's going on?

Here's the last post from your thread. Usually something breaks the thread during the last post. I don't think there's a way to fix it.

Interesting timing. I now have three Ceriatone amps that I built with a similar effects loop (2525, Son of Yeti, Molecular 50). The last one (Molecular 50) had an active effects loop buffer board, and it was so noisy I got rid of it. I just wired it passive (Send comes from Treble pot, Return goes to coupling cap of PI). I personally really like these passive effects loops. Sure they drop signal a little bit but I can just turn up the master a tiny bit. Or the effects pedal can sometimes have a level boost. I personally don't see any disadvantage and they sound awesome. I would do that mod for sure. That Molecular 50 effects buffer circuit has issues in my opinion. It had a hiss I didn't like and seemed to amplify noise from the pedals. I got rid of it and it was 100% better. I love these amps. The Molecular 50 is the best tone I have ever had. It's a beast.
