IEC power input hole
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,
Does anyone have an easy way to cut or punch the hole to use a IEC power input on their amps?
Here is the part that I am referring to from the Hoffman parts list
Power cord/Fuse holder receptacle for Bedrock chassis 2 and chassis 3. Uses a standard removable/computer end power cord. Holds a 5 X 20 mm fuse.
It would be nice to do this with a punch, but I can't find one. The hole required is not sqaure.

Jonas,
I use the one listed above it, and I use a rectangular hole. Are you sure you can't use a rectangular hole?
Before I had the metal shop make my chassis, I used a dremel tool with cutoff wheel to cut the holes. It is a pain in the a$$ but it worked.

at McMasters I saw square hole punches, all well over 200 bugs ...
I stay with my jig saw to cut the receptacel holes out of the chassis..
