I like this chick, good voice and creative playing of the tambourine with the foot gets thumbs up from me. I read she uses the akai headrush loop station. She ain't hard to look at either.. ;)

When he had a nose.........he was great.....musically.
I like the Quency era stuff a lot.

I remember seeing that video.
Pretty fun.

I know, me too, I look for something then while listening to that, another catches my eye on the right side of the screen, but some of my best discoveries were accidental.

Dyna

Ps: Yeah its sad to see a kid get so screwed up that he does irrepairable damage to his face. His sister followed suit, they both look similar. Michael, your African-American get used to it, hey you were better looking that JJ Walker.

Great vocalist!  I like her singing alot.  She's got that sultry raspy singing thing going on.

She sounds a little bit like Janis Joplin, IMO.  I saw Janis at midnite at the New Orlean's Pop Festival.

I thought I'd bump this one again.  I really like this girl and the more I listen to her stuff, the more I want to hear it again.  Any chick that sounds like she'd be a natural belting tunes like 'Jesus Just Left Chicago' is my kind of singer.

She does a MEAN ass version of 'Ain't no body, Love you better' a Chaka Khan tune done with acoustic instruments including what sounds a pump organ. Check this out:

You two might want to be careful who you say that to.  I'm a pacifist, so you don't have to worry about me, but any other Scotsman (and probably most Irishman as well) might very well take violent exception to that.

She is also, I hear, quite fond of good scotch.

True.. Apologies to those two fractions of the emerald isle for generalizing. (although at some point they're original lineage has to tie together, I rather doubt they just appeared on two different area's without some migration) I'm btw nearly fully Irish myself, so I should probably know better.

On the whole, I'm not that wild about looper stuff like this, but it did occur to me last night that it really is a rather direct desendent of Les Paul & Mary Ford with the Lespaulverizer.  I think he did it better than most of them, but that doesn't mean it's a bad idea, and I'm actually a bit of a fan of K.T. Tunstall.

She did episode 5 on Live from Darryls house (Darryl Hall) It's a monthly Web cast concert for lack of a better term. I was never a big fan of Hauling Oats ,but this is my favorite monthly event ....I have to warn you though .....once you get through the archived shows .....it's a long wait for the next one .....
enjoy.......oh and it's with Darryls band not Mrs Loupner ........
