Anyone build these? I just got the Tonnes of Tunes and im itching to do the true PTP/minimilist approach, only thing is i have no idea of how they sound, any ideas?

also for those that have done these circuits did you devide the circiuts or put them together in 1 chassis?

I built the London Power Standard Preamp into a Super Reverb. It sounds great. The clean channel is still Fender and the Dirty channel can get a Marshall or Boogie type of tone. And you can even use both channels at one time for a tweed tone. I am working on making the amp foot switchable now. London power press has got some pretty good ideas.

The amp is now totally foot switchable. Even better when you don't have to take you hands off the guitar to go to a new sound!

 coolio,

did you run dc heaters for the preamp section, alos did you tie the preamp and power map together in 1 chassis. 1 more, i spoke to a guy who did this am0p and he said that the dirty channel has way too much gain and oscillate at volume, did you have this problem?

thanks

I built the preamp and power amp in one.
The gain is everything from a little bit of grit to saturated.
The circuit does not oscillate. You can change the amount of gain by changing a couple of series o grid resistors. My only complaint was the dirty channel was too loud. But I am using a 50 watt amp. In a band situation it is fine. I like it a lot!
