Wide Screen TV
« on: February 12, 2009, 07:26:40 am »
I know you all noticed the wide screen TV make everybody look fatter

Here is a regular picture taken in normal TV screen format

Now when you go wide screen you get this they look like Clydesdales now
I would watch figure skaters and they were carrying 30 pounds of fat on there legs I know that can’t be true

Will the TV camera change it’s format so we can get the full use of the wide screen
Like it you are watching a football game on a regular TV format you may see the 40 yard line the 50 yard line and the 40 yard line

We should see on a wide screen shot the 30 yard line the 40 yard line the 50 yard line the 40 yard line and the 30 yard line

When they show you the movies they shot in a wide screen format you get the two black bars on the top and the bottom

Does anybody think we will get the perfect picture in the future

That's 4:3 format being seen on a tv set for 16:9
You can set your screen to 4:3 for that particular program but you will have black edges.
The remote you have most likely has a picture format button so you can change back and forth quickly.

Some programs are in 16:9 format and some are in 4:3 format
If the program is only available 4:3 format, that's what you get.

most of the national geo, discovery stuff I want is 16:9

I leave mine in 16:9 format and just enjoy the big asses on everyone.  ;D
