Randy Hansen Band, Hear my train a comin'

Here's Randy from 08, the man never fails to entertain and is probably one of the better Hendrix impersonators (Sorry Stevie RIP, Randy has Hendrix down). I've seen him a few times and he always puts on a good show. Check the tall marshall cabs (4x12? 6x10?), left handed strat flipped over (I always think thats weird, but if you want to try and emulate and your right handed I guess its as close as it gets, not sure if its necessary, some would argue). Anyway, hope you enjoy:

And for a encore: Voodoo Chile

Man!!!!  He`s great.  Sure brings back memories. I can smell the pot burning.  Those are eight 10`s in those cabs. I had a stack like that back in 73.  I got a different car and the 8-10 cab wouldnt fit in , so like a fool I cut the cab in half to make two 4-10 cabs.  I eventually sold the head for $50.00 and gave the cabs away to some young kids who were just starting out.  I wish I could turn back time. :'(   Thanks for sharing.   Punky

I saw this guy a half dozen or so times at Bogart's in Cincinnati in the early '80's (big place, holds 2000). Last time, there was a riot in the place. People started jumping on the tables and crushing them. It was bedlam; everyone was going wild. About 50 police came in swinging. Luckily, my buddy and I were on the side against the wall. We were out of the main craziness. God, I was wasted that night. Talk about an exciting show! I played there about 20 times. We usually filled the place but nothing like that!!
Those WERE the good old days!
