pdf to GIF file convertor
« on: April 16, 2009, 02:55:53 pm »
Anyone know a good pdf to GIF file convertor program that's free.  I got on line and looked around & there are quite a few programs available.  What is a good one that's free and is also trouble free?

I get emailed song sheets in a pdf format that I have been scanning into GIF to cut and paste and re-organize into chronological order.  The scanning is time consuming.

Thanks, Tubenit

The reason I asked is my computer does not allow any changes to any other file type. There doesn't seem to be a program for it?   When I hit "save as" ........ pdf is the only file type that comes up.  Plus there is a pop up that also states you can not make changes and only save as pdf.

So ........ anyone know of any programs?

I usually save things as GIF, JPEG or Bitmap.

You are trying to save a PDF file as an image file in Adobe acrobat? Is that correct?

I don't see a "save as" function in Abode acrobat 9, but, here's what I do all the time to save things as images, in any program.

What ever you are viewing on your screen, hit the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard.
Now the data is stored on your windows clipboard.
I then open paint shop pro and hit the "Paste as new Image" button.

The contents of the windows clipboard are then converted to a new image file and then you can do what you want to the image.

Yea that is what I was trying to say
It works every time
but you have to cut out the picture you want in paint then I do a copy and put in a new file
