 understanding tremolo circuit

 This is the tremolo channel of an accordian amp that I am converting for guitar use: us.f1f.yahoofs.com/bc/48b...AB9oHo2TUf
Tremolo circuits like this confuse me a little, I know it is an oscillating thing (it's fun to try and measure the plate voltage of the tiode at the bottom of the schematic).
Does the 12AX7 with the triodes in parallel offer any gain in this circuit?
What effect does raising or lowering the B+ to the triode at the bottom of the schematic have?
The amp itself looks pretty cool. A 1959 or '60 Sano Hi-Fi amp, 2 EL34s and a 15" speaker that looks like a Jesen P15R. It also has an 8" Utah.
The thing is all true point to point with incredibly clean wiring and lead dress. All the components are quality stuff. Two big transformers, the output tranny is as big as the power tranny. All the original tubes are in it: all amperex bugel boy. It is set up like an old Supro, with a seperate power amp chassis mounted at the bottom of the cabinet.
Sano was made by the same people who started making Ampeg amps.

Mesauring a tremolo or vibrato voltage is absolut easiest done with a scope, but an analouge VOM will also do

 Ok, the link works. The thing is in bitmap, I see it well on my computer with Windows XP. The file is called the improvedSano tremolo channel. That is because I revamped the schematic, I didn't change the circuit. It looks very strange to me, but I have gone over the thing several times and this is the way it is layed out.

A : No it's a chatode-follower (and a mixer)

Q: What effect does raising or lowering the B+ to the triode at the bottom.

A: Not 100% sure but it should alter the AMPLITUDE of the outcoming signal (Intensity)
