They just toured last year to support their new album.  I wonder what happened?  Man, you really start to feel ancient when your music heros die of old age instead of the "expected" drugs and excess.  They had a lot of big hits in the mid to late 60's!  Fantastic songwriters.  What a shame...

Right, they just played here in February for the Buddy Holly Tribute....Both Peter and Gordon looked to be in fine health and got rave reviews from the people that were lucky enough to get tickets, saying that they still sounded good. I was too late to get tickets to the show, but I saw them being interviewed on the local news and saw videos of their performance. It was certainly unexpected.

"Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying" was by Gerry and the Pacemakers.

P&G's biggest hit was "A World Without Love". There were surely others, but that's the only song I remember by them.

Yeah, I remember now, thanks! I've been having a song on my mind lately from that period that keeps showing up out of no-where and I can only remember some of the words and can't remember who did it but---some of the words are----"When the rain, beats upon my window seal, I'll think of summer days again and dream of you" "They say all good things must end, but don't you know I still love you so, wish you didn't have to go" "Oh no no no" 

That song lately follows me every where I go and I recall being out in the yard of our family home hearing that on my transistor radio. Two songs we use to play the daylights out of when I started playing in bands in the 60s was "Don't let the Sun catch you crying" and "Spooky" by the Classics V. That Cmaj7 on "Sun" and EMin7 on "Spooky" was some cool cords to be playing and just made you feel like your doing something special. Boy I got some memories don't I?  Plate

You know you got to have a window seal or you'll have a window spill! When the rain is pitter patteren on your window after the summer is gone, you gotta have it sealed! especially on those old wood frames or you end up with a watery mess! So that will really be bad, your love has left after summer vacation and you got a big mess on the floor. So I really did mean "window seal"!    ----boy some folks will go a long way to keep from admitting they are a terrible speller!  If I got the lyrics right I would have said " Window Pain"
