well, well, indeed...
So, I think I'll pass on the Simpson 265 because, and correct me if I'm wrong, the applications I would want to use it for can be easily done with a DMM or my RCA VTVM. Right?
Speaking of DMMs, I need auto arranging, 1000v DC, AC, resistance, and preferably mA current. But, not necessarily an expensive one. Got it. I just found out that my buddy is a Fluke Distributor! I knew he sold sensors to manufacturing facilities, but whaddya know! I may just have to spring for one if I can get a deal. Maybe he has a good line on a gently used one.
I think we have a winner with the 1G1B v. IG18 audio generator! I can't check for sure, my gear is about a hundred miles away right now, but that is just too close. Also explains why zero info was available, I'll bet I can find something now! Glad to hear that it may turn out to be a quality piece of equipment.
ISOTone, I can't swear it’s a LBO-54b (given my already demonstrated inability to distinguish letters and numbers), but it is definitely not the 514-a. Thanks for one heck of a try, though. Again, my stuff is temporarily out of reach, but I'll post some picks ASAP.
In the mean time, I'll leave you fellas with a picture of the soon to be electronics workshop I built into an 8x6 closet off my garage! I've made everybody else look at 'em, why not you? Now, I just have to finish filling it up with equipment...
Thanks again!
