Nice axe. Looks to be ash. I sure do like the bridge on it.

It definatley has it's own unique tone. I like to use 10's for strings. I got another off Ebay 6 years ago and this was the first one i had seen since then. I am surprised i got it for only $229.37 /

I remember those Kahler bridges! I must've fit 50 of those things onto strats in the eighties (I never did a Les Paul, even though Kahler had a model for it). They were floppier than a Floyd Rose...even with the heavy springs, but the 'Pro' bridges with the sliding adjustable saddles were great. I believe someone has thrown some money at the problem and started making them again.

Hah!  I haven't seen that bridge in AGES!  My no-name MIJ strat from the late 70's has that bridge!  I love that bridge and I ABUSED that thing!  It would float real nice with the right strings, go juice, and if you held your tongue just right!  Oh, and I also had to Heli-coil the wang bar hole cause of the cheap pot metal they used there.  Nice geetar, good find!

WOW! $300+ for that thing!    I paid half of that and got a guitar thrown in for free back in the late 70's!  Man I'm gettin old...

They were good but not THAT good!

I've seen some of they're Rose wannabe bridges, but haven't seen that one. Is that a trem bridge or just a hard tail bridge? Looks nice. Heck I like cheaper guitars. I bought an ibanez with H-S-H body, sunburst with binding and love the darn thing, think I paid all of 175 for it. Actually nicer playing and a better neck than the strat I got rid of. Anyway, nice score, that looks cool.

It is a Hardtail Kahler Pro Bridge. I love the way it plays. It will not go out of tune no matter how you abuse the whammy

It is pretty solid and not spungy at all / The string harmonics with this bridge is awesome and sings with nice sustain

Nice Score there plexie50! You got me corn-fuzed though! I thought a hard tail was non-tremolo bridge but you say it is a tremolo??? I was looking close at it trying to see where the whammy bar attached to it but couldn't see the hole. Plate
On the right track now<><
