  I became a grand father this week. First time too...........a little girl.....
My oldest son & his wife.  (the second family)  My wife, who is much younger than I am, is quite excited about it.  I already mentioned that I'm not a built-in baby sitter!!

 Congrats Bill. I know how excited I was to become a step gramps to my stepson's kids. First time the oldest of the now three grandkids called me Gampaw I just about melted. Kids got my heart for life. Understand the babysit comment too. We've baby sat the last three weeks in a row for the newborn and his year older brother and I told the missus that, thats it we're not gonna baby sit for a few weeks. Just cause they want to have a night out or have friends in town or the other thousand excuses is no reason why we should drive all the way across town and sit. The Missus though being as thats her blood son has a weakness and can't say no though. Anyway, good to hear, enjoy them its the best thing ever.
