Just did something that makes my skin crawl

I need a reverse audio taper 50k and reverse audio 3meg pot for an amp I'm trying to finish by tomorrow and I just found out I don't have any in stock.  BFDR is the amp.  I do have 50k audio and 3meg audio pots but not reverse.  I also have several other linear and audio tape values in stock.  Any ideas on how to get this done with the available equipment?  I know I should know this.

Well since I have to get this amp out tomorrow I had to take drastic measures.  I pulled the pc mount 50kRA and 3megRA pots off of the DRRI PCB and used them on the amp   I feel so dirty.  It will have to do for now.  I'll tell the customer he'll have to bring it back when I get the right pots in stock again.

You did what you had to do to get it out.
I'm sure your customer is happier with that than with getting it in time.

 Not a big deal as long as you let him know why. That wouldn't bother me at all.
