BF Princeton Reverb AA764 ?

Hi all,

I have a BF Princeton Reverb, tube chart in the cab. say's  _AA764_ and is stamped _OC_ for the date code. Got a GZ34 listed on the tube chart for the rectifier.

I've never seen a schmo. for this model, only for _AA1164_ and _B1270_, do you think it's only a "left over" tube chart Fender had layin around.

When I first got it,(10 years ago?) I seem to remember, it had the same cir. values as an _AA1164_, except for the GZ34.

Has anyone ever run across one of these?

sounds like the later ones had them.  you sure the date code isn't "QC"?

No it's clearly OC, I don't think it's worth any more $$, I'm just thinking, is it a early or late model?

I had BF Super Reverb, that I played for many years, giging out, that date codes on the pots and alnico speakers that read to 67', must've been left over parts after CBS took over in 65'    

I seem to remember one of GW's books having a list of date codes for Fenders, but I can't seem to find it in his books.

Curious - I've read various posts that the AA763 (or 764?) Princeton is an AA1165 with a different rectifier, and other reports saying that a batch of them left the factory for a few moths with the wrong tube chart.  When you look at the AA763 pro or tremolux, you can't really get any clues either, because the values in their tone stacks are even different to each other.
