So thats how your gonna play huh, sad song in the morning? (I'm still griveing my brothers passing in Nov. just might cry all day now)  :angel

Well, I'll see your sad Bonnie song and raise you one "Angle from Montgomery" Bonnie song    :undecided:     "There's flies in the kitchen, I can hear'um there buzzin....."

You gave away your "tell", "Deep calls to deep in the roar of a water fall"

And if your thinkin about playin another hand, I still have another ace up my sleave (more Bonnie)

Wow!   Yeah, "Feeling Like Going Home" got me pretty choked up.  Great tune.
Never heard it before.  Lots of emotions in that one.

Lost my dad this last yr 2010 ........ so I don't have a home anymore to go to. Sure wished I did.

Thanks for sharing that.   Jeff

Guys can sing sad stuff too.

A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

Sluckey,

Great tune!  I don't think I've heard that one before?

I also liked the Texas bluebonnets and indian paintbrush at the start of the tune. Really reminds me of "home" and all the spring fishing trips I took and seeing those beautiful flowers driving to the lakes.

Best regards, Jeff

tubenit, I'm very sorry to hear about your fathers passing. I lost my dad 7 years ago and I still miss him. I know the feeling about not being able to go home, its not a good feeling. There's still times when I want to go ask/talk over something with him but that ship has sailed. I've talked to people 20/30 years older than myself and they say the same things were saying.        FWIW, IMO, the way you turned out as a person, your dad must have been a good guy.       I'd bet there's a lot of your father in you and thats a good thing, that part of home is in your heart and memorie and that can't be takin away.

Brad,

Thank you for your kind words and compassion. He was an honorable man and somewhat of a hero to me.

Sounds like you had a father that you admired and still miss also.

Best regards, Jeff

I don't have a link, but check out Delbert McClinton doing "Don't Wanna Love You Anymore" from his live album a few years back...

Oh Yeah!      Delbert!

He's one of the best. He's got a great "feel" for a song, any song.
