ReVibe build done

I finished the ReVibe Tore T-Mod yesterday.  The unit exceeded all my expectations!  WOW....Just WOW!!!

I've only built amps and pedals on a PCB.  Building on a turret board was a huge jump in skill and attention to detail required.  Oddly, I found it a bit more fun and a lot more satisfying to build than my PCB builds.

To Dave I want to say thank you for wealth of information on this site.   
The information on the "Hoffman Amplifiers stuff" link should be required reading for all aspiring amp builders.

If you are thinking of building a ReVibe, DO IT!

Out of curiosity how did you do your grounds, especially the earth ground. I have seen a system that eliminates noise by using a resistor and diode.

I always wanted to build one of those and never did. I guess the need for proper lead dress and attention to details scared me away, my loose.

The link between earth ground and chassis ground in this box is made of a 15ohms (anything between 10 and 20 ohms should work) resistor, paralleled with two 1N4007 (tumbled mount). This forces the electron flux to pass between amp, effect box and guitar by the instrument cable, due to the lower resistivity of the guitar/amp cable; this virtually eliminates a potential ground loop.
Note that the input, output  and reverb can connectors MUST be isolated regard to the chassis! And DON'T ever connect the pot case to circuit ground!
