Some recordings I have been working on lately
« on: July 01, 2011, 01:50:09 am »
Hey guys,

It's been a busy few months for me.  I have been recording music again along with amp work and my regular day gig.  This made for long days but it has all paid off with something I am kind of proud of.

Here is a link to the tracks I recorded at my place  http://www.reverbnation.com/zojoblack

I used various mic pre's and microphones that I have built over the years along with lots of other equipment I have acquired over the years.  The recording is also full of the amps I have built so it's kinda fun to listen to for me.

I'd love to hear some feedback!

There is currently only three tracks uploaded to the site but we recorded 10 tracks.  I am sure he'll upload more at some point.  The cd release party is this weekend.  Let the party begin!

That's excellent work. Good well written music, played, recorded and mixed properly.

The band sounds very 'together'...obviously I have no idea how it was tracked, but it 'feels' very natural as if recorded live. And the mix has a subtle room feel to it. Very cool.

You deserve to be very pleased with the results.

Sounds real good to me.

I could see you playing on Austin City Limits with material like that.

I wish you well with the band.
