Aluminum metallized polypropylene for filter caps?

Solen makes aluminum metallized polypropylene fast caps in 630v up to 47mf. Is this cap acceptable for use as a filter cap? It seems to me that, since the voltage is way overrated, it should work, but I'd love some expert advice before going forward.

Sure they work just fine but you'll need tons of room for them as they are BIG.

They are great, and I've used them. They are WAAYYY wider than Sprague Atoms, so a retrofit will often be difficult. Measure 3 times before you cut, in this case.

Steve Carr uses them.
It is almost funny.....the first time you see them in a chassis.
As stated by others, they are much bigger than elytics of the same value.
