Stormy Rider
« on: September 21, 2011, 10:19:53 am »
I've always liked this tune, but never tried to play along with it til yesterday. Last copy I actually owned of this tune was on an 8 track tape.
 :icon_biggrin: :l2:

This is not my normal "style" of playing so it was a stretch for me & kinda hard to play along with.

This is my 2nd take. There is also an acoustic buried in the mix that added some bass and fullness to the tune. However, it blended in so well, it's difficult to pick out.  Used my Tweed Overdrive on OD but the guitar volume at "4" to maintain a very clean tone.

EDIT:  remixed this to bring out the keyboard towards the end.  I like this one better

Hey Jeff, that's sounds really nice!

But just THINK how much better it would have sounded with a Strat!
