SF Master Volume Twin Reverb conversion

This was a Fender 1977 Master Volume Twin reverb. The owner wanted me to rework the circuit to handle the full range output of a Pedal Steel. The normal channel is Volume and tone with a bright switch with reverb. The Vibrato channel was re-voiced too. The speaker is a special design Neo 300 watt Eminence. This amp is big, bold, punchy and loud.

In the end, how did the circuit change to suit the pedal steel?

Lots of tweaks to the input stages and tone stacks. The idea is to keep things clean without becoming sterile. The amp I started with was clean. I tweaked the tone stacks including the normal channel with a tweed type, adjusted the reverb and even the tremolo to suit this Steel players likes and dislikes.
The speaker is incredible in this amp. It's full flavored and punchy. Sounded great with a Tele too.
The cabinet was custom made completely out of pine with a open back baffle with an oval cutout.

I'm curious to what you would do with the tone stack.  I play pedal steel.  I used to have a 66 Fender Twin w/JBLs and can't imagine a better tone for my (Sierra) pedal steel.  I also own a Peavey Session 400 that was designed for pedal steel, 200W, 15" BW speaker.  I like the Peavey, but I prefer the tone of the Twin.  Actually, I like a little dirt in my sound and currently use a 2x6L6 Bandmaster Reverb.  Same tone, just slightly dirtier than the twin. 

The only thing I could think to do to the Fender AB763 tone circuit to modify it for pedal steel, other than maybe changing the grid stopper values for the higher impedance of the pedal steel pickup.

The experience I have had with pedal steel players is they use a twin and turn the treble and midrange down and turn up the bass. So I reduced the slope resistor and increased the bass and mid caps. Also, bypass the tone controls and try a simple tone cut control.
