Greg Allman, plays acoustic "Come and Go Blues"
« on: March 31, 2012, 10:28:25 pm »
Found this on you-tube. 1'st song has Greg, Dan Toler, Dickey Betts, 2'nd song is just Greg and an acoustic, I didn't know he could play that good.

Danny Toler was a monster player

I heavily modded a twin reverb for him and he loved it.
Somwhere I have my hand written notes and a modified schematic of what I did to that amp.

Funny to look back at this.
Don't know about this time period, but later on when I knew them, Dickie and Danny did not like each other at all

Found some clips of a bunch of guys I know playing at the 5 o'clock club in Sarasota, fl.

Dangerous Dan Toler is sitting in and dangerous as usual.
Dan passed away not too long ago

These clips were a surprise find
Enjoy Dan Toler fans

This is a friend of mines page, Matt Greenwood, he has several Dan Toler clips there
Matt Greenwood is the guy on the Les Paul

If you find those notes, it sure would be neat to see them  :icon_biggrin:

I love the Allmans. Some of the best music ever made.....
