I have stopped being surprised at the guitar player who spends $3,000 on the latest boutique amplifier, and plugs in his Mexican Stratocaster strung with light gauge strings through a Big Muff Pi fuzz pedal.

Very nice work!

It looks like there are 2 diodes in antiparallel across an R&C? What are they for? Are they wired up to the 5Y3 rec? If so, are they before or after it?

The pair of 1N4007s are connected in parallel to a hum-loop block network so as to act as a bypass path for serious fault currents. The hum-loop block network is itself connected between the chassis & the power amp star.

Excellent work! And the pics are outstanding! Please tell which camera?
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

"NIKON COOLPIX L3  COOLPIX L3v1.2" ?

High-class mid-price 2006 model.

I have a cousin, and like it, except sticky settings-button. IIRC $20 at yard sale. ~~$50+ on eBay.

Kind of off-topic, but if you don't want people to know things such as where a photo was taken, you'll need to find the setting dealing with (I think) the Geo Metadata and turn if off.

Very new to all this.  What is the Red screw block to the far left here?

Actually I've used an Int'l PT with extra primary and secondary windings, therefore I've put the (somewhat numerous) unused wires inside the screw block.
