Hoffman Amps Forum image Author Topic: Just a thought , is there anything to gain changing a SF champ to fixed bias  (Read 1977 times)

  • I am wordy and frustrating EAYOR
 I wondered if the result would be similar to a fixed bias 6V6 P-P amp. I know it's more parts and I would have to adj the bias on each brand 6V6 I use . I seached here but did not find anything.

Self-adjusting bias should be used whenever possible.
