High octane preamp, one tone control,no master. doable?

I like the high octane preamp but don't care for the TMB or have use for the master volume.(i will use VVR)
Is there a simple tone control that will work with a cathode follower like the high octane?
I just want a dirty little amp. Oh and I want it single ended like the high octane as well.

Ok,I built the amp, actually it's more like a hot-rodded JCM800 than a Hi-Octane.It has lots of gain and is totally controllable.
One 6V6 power tube, about 340v on the plate.I have the preamp almost the same as a JCM800/Hi-Octane with no tone stack.
A regular tone control like a 5F2A won't work, but I wonder if a cut control would work?I guess I need to try it and find out.As is the tone is pretty much where it should be without any tweaking at all.Just need some adjustability for different guitars.
This little amp is LOUD.The VVR works flawlessly;I scaled the whole amp.
It has some really nice edgy cleans with a strat and rips nicely at full gain too. With a humbucker it's insane!
I thought Tunenit had a tone control for a cathode follower amp,or maybe I'm dreaming?

I'm slowly getting the hang of the T-filter control I mentioned in the other thread.

I'm thinking I like it, but it may work better in an amp like yours. 2 controls would be ideal, for notch frequency and mid-level.

You'd be surprised how flexible it it, especially if the amp sounds basically-right as-is. Only downside is it won't give you fine control of absolute level of bass/treble, but it sounds like it does when the mid-dip notch moves.

But I also have a Cut control to take out the highest treble if needed (which it often is with a aluminum domed D-130 and single-coil guitars).
