Push Button switch, HELP
« on: February 21, 2013, 11:21:16 am »
I'm looking for a small push-button switch like Fender is using on some of their Strats. I forget what the series is but I've seen similar switches on Shur guitars. THX joe

Nor sure, but I think this is what you are looking for.

I look at Shur guitar and I don't see any push button switch . Do you mean the S-1 switching system on the volume pot on some Fender Deluxe ?

Photo will help.Or Fender guitar model and year.

Thanks Ed... that's what I was looking for. I'm thinking of using one of those instead of the mini toggles that always get bent or broken.

Ah ! You talk about a toggle switch not push botton !!! Really not same. They are good quality togle and cheap one . Push button ; could be difficult to see its position in the dark

There's a push button switch on that page, right where Ed said it was. 3rd row down left side.

Yes, and you can see that switch (or similar) between the tone controls on the Deluxe Players Strat. Probably does about the same as the 'S1' series volume pot push switch.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

Not usually wired as a S1, but can be.  Most requests I have done were to make multiple pups blend-able and the button allows you to turn off any of the pickups on a strat style setup.
