My new pick up
« on: February 24, 2013, 09:54:34 am »
Given to me by a neighbor.
Half ton, on demand posi-track, oversized lawn mover engine.
Handlebars flip around backward to make it a "walk behind" carrier.(levers control brake and clutch in that case)
Hauls lots and gets in tight corners.

Now I have to cut down 2 years worth of firewood, for myself, in return!
Amps totally on hold.

Thought the other "back woods guys" here might like this one.

Pictures dirty and so is my iphone.

Oh man, I want I want. I bet you can really scoot through some tight spots with that!
I have a 45hp Kubota that I pull my wood cart with, and can get around pretty well in the woods with it, but still end up pulling logs and branches to it a lot of times.
Tapping into the inner tube.

You need to dress that thing up a little. How about this?

Simply enough, a "carry".
ie Kobota Carry (or whatever the maker is)

Kubota is big here for tractors.

I suppose this Carry thing is maybe 10 HP, not fast but has the torque.
Says 600 Kg on the side but I am sure I loaded more than that in it.

Tight spaces.......
What I am hoping to get eventually is one of these!
I borrowed it from my neighbor once.
Totally awesome, hauling logs/rocks down the side of the mountain.
LOL, it decided it wanted to go off the path and down 20 ft cliff without me ooooopsie.....and survived perfectly.
