Hartke HA5000 output module repair
« on: August 02, 2013, 06:19:08 pm »
Hi -

There are two pots on the power amp modules. I assume they are meant to be adjusted when the output devices are changed. Does anyone know the procedure?

Tnx

they are bias adjustment , yes they should be adjusted to the voltage or current that is marked on the schermatic, however if you have tested the amp to full volume and it doesn't distort don't worry about it.
Any tube unit can be brought back to life.
I never meet a tube I didn't like.
