new song on Soundcloud
« on: December 19, 2013, 04:37:51 am »
https://soundcloud.com/scott-gorsuch/sugarplum?in=scott-gorsuch/sets/3rd-album-demos
recorded on my tiny hp-mini netbook (AV Linux) with Ardour, Hydrogen Drum Machine - used my homemade 12 string, amaretto boost into my "73 Traynor YBA1 and 2x12 w/ early '60s RCA console speakers.
happy holidays everybody,
Scott

Scott,

Sorry I missed this - great stuff!  I think Mary is an awesome tune! :worthy1:  If these are the rough cuts, I want to hear this one in full production!

I missed it too.  Great stuff.  Sounds like you may have some Beatles influence.  Really nice chime in most of the tunes.  I listened to a few.

Thanks for sharing your work. :worthy1:

Yeah, I'm hearing a little Birds, a little Tom Petty, maybe even a little Creedence.

Sounds great Burt, solid and really "vintage"!

thanks everybody!
really hope to record the new album this year. i did my first two CDs at home. but if i can manage it, would like to record live drums/bass/guitar in a nice studio (in a great room with great mics), and just do vocals and mixing at home - it's all about money of course, and i ain't got much 'o that
hell er high water (or snow!), i will git'er done.

I don't care if it's an old topic your stuff is really great and you're always killing it you can definitely count me as one of your fans.  I really dig your guitar tones also ... if I remember right you built your amp from this site didn't you, and if so what's the story on that
keep on with those scales and that fish is gonna die, if it don't bite you first!

never fried a tranny ..till I built a dim bulb tester. UPDATE-haven't fried anything since learning how to properly build & use one...thanks Uncle Doug, & el34 World

Hay S&P, good to see you poking around!  Speaking of recording, I want to hear some more of your stuff and how about another collaboration with James? :hijack1:

Yes, Scott has got some great stuff going on here.  I wonder if that CD got made!  Scott? :headbang:

Try the link in his signature line at the bottom of his posts.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!
