Robin Trower Concert!
« on: October 01, 2014, 09:09:05 pm »
Well gents, my lovely wife mentioned she heard on the radio that Robin Trower was coming to town on Saturday night.  I had not heard that so I immediately purchased tickets yesterday.  And believe it or don't, my daughter wants to go!  I am officially successful as a parent!!!!! :headbang: :wav: :bravo1: :m1

My wife also heard that this will be Robin's last stateside tour.  He is almost 70 so I guess the road takes its toll.  However, his website does not say anything about that.  Who knows?  I'm not going to miss this one!  He is right up there with Ritchie and one of my top 5.

I will give a full report after the show!

Love it!  I think it's a noble and worthwhile endeavor to pass on our musical values to our kids and have them come to truly appreciate them.   (except for that "strat" thing you've got going)

My grandkids in St.Louis can sing along with the 4 Tops, Temptations, Aretha, Wilson Pickett, Otis, etc ..... all the way to
John Lee Hooker's  "Boom Boom".    Very cool stuff!

With respect, Jeff

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but, Teles don't have the curves, they look stiff to me.

Now one of these;     :m8        they got the right curves.

Teles, need to eat Teles.     :m19

(And yes Rory did also play a Tele sometimes for some things, mostly slide work.)

Ewwwww.  I feel dirty.  How could you guys ruin such a wonderful post with comments about a toneless waste of a tree - and a PICTURE for gosh sake!!!!! :sad2:  Bob, you used to me my friend.  I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to put you on a performance improvement plan.  I have to tell you, Tubenit is a lost cause.  You should not have any contact with him.  You hang around bad influences and look what happens!!!! :help:  I, however, can lead you to the light!!!
