Greetings: My Dad has been a model railroad enthusiast all his life. The whole family enjoyed it for years but when his children left home none of us wished to continue that hobby. He will be 88 this year and his HO train layout has been idle for some time. It has fallen to me to find a new owner. It is a beautiful set-up. Dad was an engineer/draftsman for more than 40 years and the track work is superb. The layout is constructed of premium components and lumber, screwed together on several separate tables so that it can be disassembled and moved. The main line is double track so the train must make two complete circuits before returning to the start. There are mountains, streams, towns, mines, homes, businesses, sidings, a roundhouse with turntable and all the accouterments typical of a railroad modeled after the 1930 to 1960 era. It is a walk-in "U" shaped arrangement with the panel in the middle of the whole thing. He has many cars and engines, nearly all top quality, that will be sold separately. I am looking for offers on the on the complete layout itself at this time. There is a lot of money tied up in this package and someone can buy it for a fraction of that. The new owner should plan on coming to Kalamazoo to take it apart and remove it. That is the best way to see just how it will go back together again. Like most train layouts, it was never really "completed" but it is functional and very beautiful the way it is. If you have questions, please contact me. jim.coash@gmail.com Jim
