I need C8550---NTE2675 and a C9013---NTE128p
I tried your suggestion no results
I can get them thru Radio shack on line but the shipping is to high
I have a Garrity spot light it looks like the charging board went bad
it looks like it cost to much to repair

Plenty of other online stores. Even eBay has them. Do a google search.

Almost any generic silicon transistor will probably work if it will physically fit. Gotta know NPN or PNP.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

> I need C8550

This is almost certainly 2SC8550.

USA parts have 1N, 2N, 3N codes. (1N4007, 2N3055.)

Japanese parts have a similar system, where "2SC" covers nearly all "low frequency" transistors.

This is so well known that the "2S" is often omitted.

Try the full 2SC number. But Mouser is not showing it.

R.G.'S law: when in doubt, in small audio, use a 2N5089. In not-small stuff like a charger, get some idea what the current and voltage demands are (perhaps from a 2SC8550 data-sheet) and find a similar. 2N2222/PN2222 covers a LOT of NPN applications up to 100mA.

I went by a store last week and bought stuff for 33% off. I figure as time goes on the percentages will increase. Think I'll wait until it gets really low and make a mass sweep. Platefire

That was my plan but when I went back they were closed and all was gone.  You may want to ask when the "close the door for good" date is.  They may not know, but I know there was still stuff left in the stores I was going to when they packed it up and cleared out.  There are a few owner/operator locations still open around me and they all say they will carry the normal inventory of spare parts.  The other stock may change over time, but they say not much different.
