Yeah that's a good early look.  I've got that DVD and the first half they completely ignore Blackmore.  THe second half is better as they figured out who was doing what!  Gillan went after a security guy who was beating up the photographers at the front of the stage.  Nothing like a metal mic stand base on the noggin to get your attention.

Hey that kid is six years old and is pretty much note for note for not only Ritchie's solo, but also Jon's solo - that is pretty darn impressive!  (singing not included....)  Deep Purple is STILL huge in Japan.  They obviously raise their kids right!  I was thoroughly impressed!

Hey, that sounded like any other weekend jam at the farm!  Lots of head bangin' and I think I even saw some ZZ Top moves in there!   Of course you realize any mistakes would have been punishable by prison or death - to them, their family, relatives, acquaintances, viewers of the TV show, the TV show personnel, manufacturers of the guitars, manufacturers of the TV's, the broadcast station, etc., etc......  I think they performed quite well under a typical socialist regime!

Holy crap she's impressive, even with the overhand mid solo part then getting her little thumb up and over...where can these techniques come from for being so young (and little). That guitar's got to be like us wearing a 50 pounder and playing a 6 string base scale or more? Crazy when you think about it.
