I think it's maybe the 4th or 5th time I've seen him over almost 20 yr span.  It's great to hear a guitarist that continues to get better and better in his playing!

He was really amazing!  I've never heard anyone who had so many cool guitar riffs and his timing is really fantastic.  I've heard players live from Hendrix to Larry Carlton & I don't think I've ever been more impressed with anyone's playing. He can play single note blues like BB King, & plays a jillion double stops & lots and lots of riffs within chords.  So it's like he is playing lead and rhythm at the same time & never misses a lick.

And he's just got a stage personality that is likeable and he seems to have great fun with what he does!  I've seen hundreds of shows over the years and I can't remember any that were more entertaining.

BTW, he has a signature Category 5 amp that is essentially a clone to his previous Super Reverb.  A cranked Super Reverb is really a remarkable thing to hear.

It looks to me like the far right tubes on the input/preamp side may be where the reverb is?  I have done that on some of my amps and have liked how that turned out.  It has allowed me to think of the reverb as an "add on amp" that I can simply stick on the end of a layout board to add reverb to almost any amp.

Good stuff.  A cranked Super Reverb.  You sure got that right.  I love the photos of the amps.  The was they are finished, in the photos they look smaller than a 4 10 amp.

I do like the layout of the amps.  Thanks, and a great player for sure.

Been doing that myself, but I don't use a continuous buss wire.  I make a J hook, but when soldered it looks continuous.  I do not leave the bare tho, I use Teflon tubing.

Found out twisted to power tubes not necessary either.  The only thing I question is the OT secondary wires running between the Power Tubes.  Never done it, but it must be ok.

Also, the 90 Watter reminds me of the 2, KT88 amp I made for my friend.  His is a head tho and still weighs in at 37 lbs.  Couldn't imagine how heavy that would be in a combo with ceramic speakers.
