I've done it the Torres way, which works well to have reverb/trem on both channels.

I would not personally do it the 2nd way shown. This effectively places the plate loads of the 2nd gain stages of the Normal and Vibrato channels in parallel, giving a 50kΩ resulting plate load for each channel. I can't think of a good reason to do it this way instead of taking the signal after the 0.047uF coupling cap (which the 2nd method removes), unless you're short coupling caps and need to use that one somewhere else.

This said, once you're done with the Torres way of doing it, you have 2 identical channels (unless one has a midrange control and the other doesn't). You might consider changing tone stack, coupling cap and/or preamp plate/cathode resistors to differentiate the two channels.
