agree that electronics shouldn't be touched. don't think new tweed wouldn't degrade value in that condition.

I honestly never opened her up.  It was parked at a buds shop...

There's a dispute over if the TS caps are really .02's like in the Fender schematic or that Fender actually sent them out with a .1 and .047.

Willabe,  "Mike; This one has two .022uFs and a 250pf with a 56k slope resistor. I have seen a.1 bass cap in these, but rarely and not based on any particular year."

Thanks Mike.    :icon_biggrin:

For some reason this question does not seem to be well documented for such a classic amp.   :dontknow:

That's one of the best relics I've seen. But please don't tell me people are going to start relic-ing amplifiers now?  :l2:

Here are two current pics from ebay. Both have .02, .1, and 100K slope.

I didn't look too hard but I never saw one that had the .02, .02, 56K.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

Oh, definitely.  You can tell the orthodontist-buyer shelled out the big bucks for the Custom Shop's Tweed Eaten By Actual Rats up-charge.

100K slope R? That's BF TS.   :dontknow:

Fender released their schematic with 2x.02 mid/bass and 250 treb caps with a 56K slope R.

Yep. And they released some amps with .02, .1, and 100K. I've seen several other original pics since I posted those. It would be nice if Mike could pop the back panel and take a couple pics of that eye candy. I still have not seen an amp with the .02, .02, and 56K. Have you?
