A car drove by slow and finally pulled into the drive. After some talk it was the local garden club. They were on their way to present an award to a homeowner and drove past my back yard which is close to an old state 2 lane road. Well, they changed their mind and gave it to my wife and I due to what they saw when driving past !! Very nice of them. I do not use fertilizer, I grind up the leaves from the oak tree in the distance with a mower and on to the beds they go when the frost hits. Makes beautiful flowers !!

Here is a shot I just took, same place just 6 months later in winter. Personally, I can't wait for summer again. The older I get the more I dislike winter.
